Children’s Church
Our Aim
The aim of the children’s church programme is to provide children of Primary School age with a relaxed learning environment for them to grow in the knowledge of our living God. We hope that in this time they will be able to listen, learn and respond to the word of God, preparing them to move into the full Church service and engage with that teaching when the time is appropriate.
Children’s church follows on as an extension of ‘Sunday Morning Kids Club’. This means the children will leave having studied one lesson in depth after revising the morning lesson and reinforcing the message with all of the fun stuff … challenges, quizzes, worksheets, creative prayer, songs, games, refreshments and so much more.
Also, as part of this programme we set aside time to teach the children the books of the Bible, memory verses, The Lords Prayer and the shorter Catechism. We see this as an essential part of the vision of equipping our children with Bible truths and an understanding of Biblical language in order to mature and feel ready to engage with Sunday morning teaching when they are ready to leave the children’s programme..

Children’s church is held in the upstairs lounge which is over at our Church Halls.

The children’s Church programme is suitable for all children of Primary School Age.
When and Where do you collect your children again from children’s church?
At the close of the church service, you can make your way up to the lounge to collect your child. The leader in charge will take a register at the start of each session and children accounted for will only be allowed to leave their care when their parent or permitted adult arrives to collect them again.
