Friendship Lunch
The friendship lunch is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September through until June. This group was formerly known as the senior citizens lunch but as we have no age barrier it was agreed to change the name to The Friendship lunch a number of years ago.
We endeavour to make everyone welcome and encourage the folks who come to share friendship with others and make them feel welcome.
We meet at 12:30 in the Ellison room and after prayer enjoy a lovely lunch together.
(Dietary requirements can be catered for if prior notice is given.)
Each month we have a speaker to bring a closing message, including the Rev David Irvine and Missionary speakers. This is a lovely time of friendship – food – and fellowship with each other, but especially with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Watch out for the announcements for the lunch and get your name on the list. We would love to have you with us. A very willing team of ladies, and some men, prepare and serve lunch led by Mrs Phyllis Hayes.
Proverbs 18 v 24
“A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
